Individual Therapy for Adults
The world is a rough and scary place for many with so much that is out of our control. Despite the chaos, unknowing, and fear I believe that we can work together to find sustainable and lasting fulfillment where you need it most. I believe that this is a subjective experience, so we will work collaboratively to identify what fulfillment means to you and how to work toward your personal goals.
I work in the present and help you look to the future while being mindful of the past. I primarily use motivational interviewing to help you identify strengths and narrative therapy to help you better understand and deconstruct the story of your life and any problems you’re encountering. Additionally, I consider developmental experiences, past traumas, family dynamics, and social context when approaching our work together.
I practice from a person-centered, socially just, and trauma-informed lens, helping adults who are feeling stuck, lost, or otherwise uneasy. I believe that effective psychotherapy is rooted in a strong therapeutic relationship built on respect, trust, safety, and transparency. You are the expert of your story and I am here to learn and guide. I consider it an honor and privilege to witness and walk alongside you on your healing journey.
You don't have to do it alone; let me help you blossom!
